“Thank you to all zakat contributors who helped Mak Cik build a new home. This has been our family’s dream all along,” expressed Mak Cik Rafidah with gratitude after receiving the keys to her new home, made possible through the assistance of the Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS).

The house, built to replace the old, unsafe, and dilapidated residence, was officially handed over in a ceremony officiated by YDH ACP Norhizam bin Bahaman, District Police Chief of Sepang. Also present to enliven the event were the Penghulu Mukim Sepang, Chief of Sungai Pelek Police Station, along with LZS officers and representatives from the local authorities.

For Mak Cik Rafidah and her family, this home brings renewed hope and the comfort they have long awaited. This program stands as proof that zakat channeled through legitimate amil can assist the asnaf more effectively and sustainably.
