Institution Management System (IMS)

Introduction

The Institution Management System (IMS) was established to provide convenience for registered asnaf — the poor, needy, and new Muslims (muallaf) — under Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) to apply for admission into institutions managed by LZS online.

Through the Institution Management System (IMS), applicants can submit their applications from anywhere using a computer or smartphone. This aligns with the development of zakat distribution at LZS, which is now moving towards the era of digitalisation. May this initiative bring benefits to all LZS asnaf.

Objective

Providing applicants with convenient online access to submit admission applications to the respective institutions.

Information and requirements related to the admission application will be explained more clearly and in detail.

Bait Al-Hasanah Application Requirements (Asnaf Children’s Hostel)

Children of asnaf fakir / miskin under LZS.
Aged 10 to 17 years.
No disciplinary or criminal record with any authority.
Physically and mentally healthy.
The LZS management will accept asnaf children who are not attending school into Bait Al-Hasanah if they meet the eligibility criteria for school enrollment (80% with good/moderate academic performance and 20% with weak academic performance).
Eligible student candidates based on the above criteria will undergo an interview session.
Applications can be submitted via form or online.

Bait Al-Mawaddah Application Requirements (Elderly Care Centre)

Baitus Salam Application Requirements (Mualaf Protection Centre)

Malaysian Citizen.
Full-time participation in programs/activities/lectures at Baitus Salam for 6 months to 1 year.
Within the muallaf registration period (under 5 years).
Possess good health and be free from infectious and chronic diseases such as AIDS and drug/alcohol addiction. Must not have serious mental health issues.
Free from legal cases (Criminal/Court/etc.).
Residents must apply voluntarily and be prepared to comply with the rules and regulations set by the management of Baitus Salam.

Application Process & Outcome

The processing period is 7 working days.
All documents do not need to be certified.
Applicants will receive notifications via the email registered during the application.
The application outcome will be communicated via phone call, WhatsApp, or email from the institution’s management.
Applications may be rejected if the applicant does not meet the requirements or if there are no available vacancies.
